Face Potions are an all-natural skincare staple that function as both cleanser and moisturizer. These aren’t your average oils; they contain humectants which attract water to your skin. This means that when used on wet skin (or when blended with a few drops of water in your palm before use) they form a cream/oil hybrid that nourishes deeply with a satiny finish. You are left with fresh, dewy, hydrated skin (without synthetic emulsifiers, surfactants or preservatives).

Grapeseed Oil- Among the lightest, freshest and most antioxidant rich oils. Our Grapeseed Oil is pressed from the seeds and contains primarily Linoleic Acid which aids in the maintenance of a strong lipid barrier and has been found in studies to be lacking in acne-prone skin. Remarkably fast absorbing leaving the skin with a matte finish and fresh feel.

Licorice Root- Licorice Root is known for its anti-inflammatory as well as brightening benefits making it the perfect ingredient to reduce the appearance of current spots and the discolouration they can leave behind.

Tamanu Oil- This oil is a super-hero for acne-prone skin. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, soothes the skin and is known for gently clearing breakouts without irritation.

Turmeric Extract- Turmeric is high in Curcumin, which is known to quell irritation, reduce inflammation and brighten the skin. Curcumin is traditionally used in skincare to fight current blemishes and prevent the appearance of acne scars.

Green Tea Extract- Green Tea is a triple threat for acne-prone skin! Green Tea’s anti-inflammatory Catechins help reduce the appearance of redness and swelling in the skin. Green Tea is an antibacterial agent and can help keep the pores clear. Green Tea is also one of nature’s most antioxidant rich plants and helps protect the skin from environmental stressors.

DIRECTIONS:

To Cleanse: Splash your face with water. Massage a few drops into damp face and neck, focusing on areas with congestion or make-up. Remove with a warm, wet wash cloth or cotton rounds. Gently wipe away until all traces of makeup are removed.

To Moisturize: Apply 1-2 pumps to wet or damp skin. You can either leave skin wet after cleansing, blend with a few drops of water in your palm before applying, massage a few drops of water into your skin after applying, or all three!

Face Potions can also be applied to dry skin as a rich facial oil.
